Matsa Resources Limited is an ASX listed gold explorer and mining company in the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. Matsa has approx. 450km2 of highly prospective tenements within is Lake Carey Gold Project, where there are 3 approved Mining operations including the high-grade Devon Pit Gold Mine which is currently in operation and cashflow positive.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Mine Geologist to lead geology functions at the Devon Pit Gold Mine and support broader project work. This role will be hands-on across production and near-mine exploration, with responsibilities including:

• Grade control modelling and ore block design / mark-out
• Oversee robust ore control / grade control process
• Design and management of drilling programs
• Input / assist LOM planning and mine scheduling
• Production monitoring, reconciliation & reporting
• Assist in the resource to reserve to mine to mill reconciliation
• Geological systems and database management
• Mentoring junior staff and working with operations teams

About You

• Degree in Geology or related discipline
• Strong open-pit gold geology experience
• Proven skills in grade control, reconciliation and reporting
• Competent with mining software (Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog or similar)
• Leadership ability with a practical, hands-on approach
