Matsa Resources Limited is an ASX listed gold explorer and mining company in the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. Matsa has approx. 450km2 of highly prospective tenements within is Lake Carey Gold Project, where there are 3 approved Mining operations including the high-grade Devon Pit Gold Mine which is currently in operation
The Role
We are seeking Grade Control Geologists to lead geology functions at Devon Pit and support broader project work. This role will be hands-on across production and near-mine exploration, with responsibilities including:
- Assist design and implementation of grade control drilling and near mine exploration programs
- Logging and database upkeep
- Oversee sampling, QAQC and dispatch
- Work with the mine team to ensure smooth and reliable drilling schedules to meet the needs of production schedules
- Routine reporting and tracking
About You
- Can do energetic and disciplined mindset
- Degree in Geology or related discipline
- Experience in gold
- Competent with mining software (Datashed, Logchief, Surpac, Leapfrog or similar)
- Leadership ability with a practical, hands-on approach
