Matsa's Siam Copper Project covers an area of 732.4 km2 and is located approximately four hours drive north of Bangkok in the Province of Petchabun. The project is located in a developed agricultural district with excellent infrastructure, including sealed roads, power and several major population centres.
The Siam Copper Project covers extensive copper anomalous stream catchments defined by a stream sediment survey.

Surface exploration activities by Matsa have included:
• Infill stream sediment sample to accurately define the extent of copper anomalism by sampling successively smaller catchments. This work served to define the Siam 1 and Siam 2 target areas of highly anomalous copper values and each around 25km2 in area.
• Geological reconnaissance; Collection of rock samples for assay and to be used as the basis for detailed geological mapping of the Siam 1 and Siam 2 Projects. Extensive copper mineralised float was discovered within the Siam 1 and Siam 2 targets. A total of 56 rock chip samples returned >0.3% Cu. Copper mineralisation is unusual by being essentially made up of primary native copper and chalcocite / digenite with only very minor chalcopyrite. These copper minerals are more typically associated with secondary processes including supergene enrichment rather than as primary ore minerals. These copper minerals and the style of hydrothermal alteration are thought to have been produced in the host andesitic in a marine environment by hot fluids emanating perhaps along faults and sourced by an intrusion at shallow depth.
• Soil sampling at Siam 1 and Siam 2 was carried out to define mineralisation concealed a residual soil profile. Values up to 0.2% were received and several well defined anomalies with soil copper values >142ppm Cu have been defined as the basis for further work
Follow up work is planned in the form of infill soil sampling and orientation ground electrical and ground magnetic surveys and detailed mapping are planned to delineate targets more precisely for costeaning and drilling. Costeaning and drilling can only be carried out when the tenements have been granted.
